Mera is a voice-first AI workspace for macOS. It is an intelligent collaborator — not a simple chatbot — that you interact with through natural conversation to research, create, and complete real work without breaking your focus.

Mera connects to your Google Workspace — Gmail, Google Docs, Google Drive, and Google Calendar — and uses Chrome for web research, all through conversation. It is designed to gather only the minimum context needed for each task, ask clarifying questions when helpful, and prepare work for your review before you take any final action.

Mera is in active development. Features, integrations, and behavior may evolve as we continue to improve the product.

Using Mera requires signing in with a Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Mera. By signing in, you confirm you meet this requirement. We do not knowingly provide services to anyone under 13.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date. Accounts created with false information may be suspended.

Price: $49 / month, billed monthly in advance. Billing starts immediately when you subscribe — Mera does not offer a free trial.

Payment: Payments are processed by a PCI-compliant payment provider. We never store your card number or billing details — only a tokenized confirmation of payment status.

Cancellation: Cancel anytime — no questions, no fees, no dark patterns. Your access continues through the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged again after cancellation.

Refunds after the guarantee window: Outside the first 7 days, we review refund requests case-by-case and want to get it right. Email us and we'll work it out.

Early access: If you were granted free or discounted access during an early-access period, those terms were communicated separately and take precedence for that period.

Price changes: We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before any price increase takes effect.

Mera is designed for personal and professional productivity. You agree to use it responsibly and in good faith. Specifically, you may not use Mera to:

• Automate actions on third-party services in ways that violate their terms of service or access policies
• Scrape, harvest, or bulk-collect data from websites or services at scale without authorization
• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, deceptive, harassing, or that violates another person's rights
• Impersonate any person, organization, or entity
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app or service
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute Mera or its outputs as a standalone commercial product
• Use Mera in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on severity.

Everything Mera produces for you — summaries, research, email drafts, documents, plans, or any other output — belongs entirely to you. The Peace Effect LLC claims no ownership or license over anything generated on your behalf.

The same applies to the data you give Mera to work with. It's yours. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to manipulate your behavior, target you with ads, or otherwise work against your interests.

Content you provide to Mera (voice input, messages, page context) is used solely to generate your requested output. It is not retained after the response is returned, is not used to train AI models, and is not shared with third parties beyond what is necessary to fulfill your request. Mera's outputs are AI-generated and should be reviewed before use in high-stakes, legal, medical, or financial contexts. Mera is a productivity tool — not a substitute for professional advice.

In its current form, Mera prepares work for your review and does not take final external actions automatically. For example, Mera drafts emails but does not send them — you press Send. Mera creates calendar events but you confirm them. Mera prepares documents and opens them for your review.

This is an intentional design decision. You remain in control of every consequential action.

Mera connects to Gmail, Google Docs, Google Drive, and Google Calendar through Google's official APIs. By connecting these services, you authorize Mera to access the relevant data on your behalf, strictly as needed to fulfill your requests.

Mera's use of Google API data adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You may revoke Google access at any time via your Google Account settings.

We aim to keep Mera available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, third-party service disruptions (including Google or our AI processing providers), or unforeseen technical issues may occasionally affect availability.

We will communicate planned downtime in advance where possible.

Mera is in active development. The service is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind — express or implied — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

AI-generated outputs may contain inaccuracies and should always be reviewed before use. We are not liable for decisions made based on Mera's output, any loss of data, loss of revenue, or interruption in service.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Peace Effect LLC's total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these terms or the service is limited to the total amount you paid to us in the 30 days immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Mera, its interface, name, branding, and underlying technology are owned by The Peace Effect LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any right to use our name, logo, or branding without prior written permission.

You may not copy, modify, create derivative works from, reverse engineer, or otherwise attempt to extract source code from any part of the app or service.

You can stop using Mera and uninstall the app at any time. Cancelling your subscription ends future billing — your access continues through the period you have paid for.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund the pro-rated unused portion of your current billing period.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ends. Conversation context is session-based and is not retained after your session ends.

We may update these terms as Mera evolves. For material changes, we will notify you by email at least 7 days before they take effect. The updated terms will also be posted at heymera.com/termswith a revised “last updated” date.

Continued use of Mera after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree, you may cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

We believe most disagreements can be resolved through honest conversation. If you have a concern, email us first and we will work in good faith to resolve it.
